About the Centre
The Centre for Water and Air Analysis at Adamas University was established to promote scientific research, environmental monitoring, and sustainable solutions to contemporary environmental challenges. It provides advanced analytical support for assessing water and air quality through modern instrumentation and evidence-based studies.
The Centre functions as an academic and research platform under Adamas University, supporting interdisciplinary research, consultancy, training, and community outreach. It contributes significantly to environmental education and capacity building through student training and collaborative initiatives.
The Centre focuses on pollution monitoring, ecological assessments, biodiversity studies, and environmental impact analysis. It also supports industrial and government projects and is committed to fostering environmental sustainability through scientific excellence and innovative research.
What We Aim to Achieve
To monitor and evaluate the quality of water and air in urban, peri-urban, and rural areas, identifying pollution sources and trends.
To conduct cutting-edge research on air and water pollution, exploring innovative technologies for mitigation and management.
To organize training programs, workshops, and seminars for students, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals.
To create awareness about water and air quality issues among the public, promoting sustainable behaviour and practices.
To provide scientific data and recommendations for formulating evidence-based environmental policies and regulations.
What We Do
Conducting interdisciplinary research in environmental science, pollution control, climate change, waste management, and sustainability.
Biodiversity assessment, ecosystem monitoring, ecological surveys, conservation studies, and environmental impact assessment.
Offering hands-on training, laboratory exposure, research guidance, dissertation support, and internships for students.
Promoting collaborations with industries, NGOs, research institutions, and government bodies for sustainable environmental solutions.
Organizing workshops, seminars, field studies, plantation drives, sustainability campaigns, and environmental awareness activities.
Assessment of physical, chemical, and biological parameters of drinking water, groundwater, surface water, wastewater, and industrial effluents.
Monitoring and analysis of indoor and outdoor air pollutants, particulate matter, gaseous pollutants, and environmental exposure assessment.
Providing analytical and consultancy support to industries, organizations, researchers, and government agencies for environmental monitoring and compliance.
Preparation of scientific reports, environmental data interpretation, and documentation for research and regulatory purposes.
